Winter Curbside Collection Reminder

Categories: Garbage & Recycling, Streets & Sanitation

Winter weather does not change garbage and recycling collection schedules. Unless the City of Sheboygan announces a delay in service, collections will occur as regularly scheduled, regardless of weather conditions.

To help prevent missed collections during winter months, residents are reminded to:

  • Place carts on a clear, level surface, free of snow and ice
  • Do not place carts in or behind snowbanks
  • Leave at least four feet of space between carts and other objects such as vehicles, mailboxes, and trees
  • Ensure carts are placed parallel to the curb or alley, not in the street
  • If the curb is blocked by snow, place carts at the end of the driveway

Carts must be set out by 7:30 AM on collection day and removed by 6:00 PM.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep winter curbside collection safe and efficient.
