  • South 18th Street (Washington Avenue to Mead Avenue) 
  • Pennsylvania Avenue (North 13th Street to Commerce Street) 
  • Division Avenue (North 15th Street to North 17th Street)

Engineering Division Functions

The Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works has five main areas of concentration:

Planning and Design | Asset Management | Surveys, Maps, and Records | Construction Management | Consultant Oversight

Through its programs and services, the Engineering Division seeks to improve the quality of life within the City by overseeing maintenance of the existing infrastructure and design and oversight of improvement projects.

Location

Department of Public Works/Municipal Service Building offices at 2026 New Jersey Avenue. Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Road Closure – Pennsylvania Avenue (North 13th Street to Commerce Street)

The City of Sheboygan Department of Public Works announces that Pennsylvania Avenue between North 13th Street and Commerce Street will be closed to through traffic from Tuesday, September 2, 2025, through late September 2025. This closure is necessary to accommodate infrastructure improvements associated with the reconstruction of Commerce Street north of Pennsylvania Avenue.
