The City of Sheboygan Department of Public Works is providing this advance notice that Union Avenue from Taylor Drive west to the Acuity Flag entrance driveway will be completely closed to traffic as a result of infrastructure improvements. Access to the Acuity Flag will be open from Union Avenue west through the University Avenue past the UW-Green Bay Sheboygan Campus. Sanitary Sewer will be installed along with other utilities. Once utilities are completed, road reconstruction will be completed.
The closure of Union Avenue from Taylor Drive west to the Acuity Flag entrance driveway will be occurring from August 24, 2020 until mid-November 2020. In addition, future closures to the intersection of Taylor Drive and Union Avenue will be occurring until mid-November 2020. Once the intersection is completely closed, Union Avenue will have limited access depending upon the work phases.
