Proposed changes to the regular hours of operation for the Residential Recycling Center, located at the East Gate of 2026 New Jersey Avenue, will NOT being going into effect at this time. The Residential Recycling Center will continue to maintain the following regular hours of operation.
April 1st through November 30th
- Monday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
December 1st through March 31st
- Monday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
A list of accepted and not accepted materials is posted at the Residential Recycling Center site and on the Department of Public Works website.
As a reminder, all City of Sheboygan residents have the opportunity to dispose of garbage, that may not fit in the curbside collection carts, during the large item collection events that are held on the third Saturday of every month through October. These events are free to all City of Sheboygan residents.
