Lane Closure – South Business Drive (Washington Avenue & Wilson Avenue)

Categories: Streets & Sanitation, Engineering, Facilities & Traffic

Washington Avenue, Wilson Avenue, South Business Drive

South Business Drive between Washington Avenue and Wilson Avenue will be restricted to one lane in each direction beginning Monday, September 27, 2021, for sanitary sewer construction. The construction is required to install sanitary sewer for a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen proposed for the former Ryder Truck Property.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction, utilizing the southbound lanes of South Business Drive. The change in traffic pattern will require the intersection of South Business Drive and Wilson to become a four-way stop during the duration of the construction.

All work is expected to be completed by the middle of October.

All work and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.

The City of Sheboygan understands the inconveniences experienced during road construction and appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work to complete this project. Please use caution and slow down in construction zones.
