The City of Sheboygan and the Sheboygan Water Utility decided to delay the upcoming roadway and utility work on Geele Avenue between Calumet Drive and North 23rd Street. This project includes lead water service replacement which requires contractors to enter private residences. For the safety of the residents and the contractors, we have placed the project on hold for up to 90 days. During the 90 day hold period, the City and the Sheboygan Water Utility will continue to monitor the pandemic conditions and work to determine if the project should continue this year or not.
