Due to the record high lake and river levels we are experiencing this year, the City of Sheboygan is temporarily closing down a section of the River Boardwalk from Parker John’s to Priority Sign in efforts to avoid pedestrians slipping and falling on the silt and mud left by the fluctuating lake levels.
Pedestrians can utilize the sidewalk on the west side of the businesses, or the parking lot side, to access all establishments.
The City of Sheboygan understands the inconveniences experienced during this closure and will reopen the boardwalk up when we deem it safe for all foot traffic.
